Nominate a Fellow
New Early Career, Associate, Full and Corresponding Fellows can be nominated by two Full Fellows of the Academy or self-nominate. Each self-nomination must be endorsed in writing by one Full Fellow of the Academy. Self-nominees are encouraged to reach out to current Full Fellows to seek endorsement.
To be eligible for election as an Early Career Fellow of the Academy, a nominee must be an early-to-mid-career scholar in the humanities who
obtained their doctorate no less than 5 years and no more than 10 years before the time of election,
is at the rank of Assistant Professor or the equivalent,
is a full-time academic member of an institution of higher education, and
is a resident of Hong Kong at the time of election.
To be eligible for election as an Associate Fellow of the Academy, a nominee must be a scholar in the humanities who
obtained their doctorate no less than 5 years before the time of election,
is at the rank of Associate Professor or the equivalent,
is a full-time academic member of an institution of higher education, and
is a resident of Hong Kong at the time of election.
To be eligible for election as a Full Fellow of the Academy, a nominee must be an established scholar in the humanities who is
at the rank of Full Professor or above (Chair Professor) or the equivalent,
a full-time academic member of an institution of higher education, and
a resident of Hong Kong at the time of election.
To be eligible for election as a Corresponding Fellow of the Academy, a nominee must be an established scholar who is
at the rank of Full Professor or above (Chair Professor) or the equivalent,
a full-time academic member of an institution of higher education, and
a resident outside of Hong Kong at the time of election.
